Who you're contracting with

What you're buying

Roam is a job-matching concierge service, not a job board or a recruitment agency. For £29.99, paid once, you receive a personalised Roam Shortlist report of up to 20 remote job opportunities, matched to the CV and questionnaire answers you provide, plus a Remote Employability Score.

No guarantees

We do not guarantee interviews or employment. We guarantee that every opportunity in your Roam Shortlisthas been manually reviewed by a member of the Roam team before it reaches you. Roam provides information and personalised recommendations only — the decision to apply for, or accept, any role is entirely yours. We don't verify a listed employer's financial stability, employment practices, or future conduct, and you should do your own due diligence before accepting any offer.

Your right to cancel

As a UK consumer buying a service online, you normally have a 14-day "cooling-off" period during which you can cancel for a full refund, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Because your Roam Shortlistreport is delivered digitally, in full, immediately after payment, we ask you to expressly confirm at checkout that you want delivery to begin right away and that you understand you lose the right to cancel once it's been delivered. If you don't confirm that, don't pay — you can still cancel and get a full refund any time before your report is delivered by emailing hello@roamcareers.com.

Our guarantee

You have 30 days from delivery to claim it. Either of these qualifies:

• Not relevant — none of the roles genuinely fit your profile (wrong seniority, wrong field, not actually remote).
• No interviews— you applied to every role in your report and didn't land a single interview.

Email us at hello@roamcareers.comwith what happened and we'll rebuild your Roam Shortlistonce, free, with a fresh set of matches. If you'd rather have your money back instead — either straight away, or after the rebuild — we'll refund you in full, no further questions asked. Because your report is bespoke work built specifically for you, we don't otherwise offer refunds once it's been delivered (per the waiver above). If something else has gone wrong — a broken link, anything — email hello@roamcareers.com and we'll make it right.

Accuracy of listings

Every opportunity is manually reviewed by a member of the Roam team before it reaches you, but third-party job listings can change or be filled after we send your Roam Shortlist. We're not responsible for a role closing or its details changing after delivery.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy of the CV and information you provide us, and for how you represent yourself in any application you make off the back of your Roam Shortlist. You must be at least 18 years old to buy Roam Shortlist from us.

Limitation of liability

We'll do our best to get things right, but we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (like lost income or a missed opportunity) arising from your use of Roam. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Beyond that, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us.

Intellectual property

The reports we create for you — including their wording, layout, and the Remote Employability Score — remain our intellectual property. They're licensed to you for your own personal use in your job search, and may not be resold or commercially distributed.

Circumstances beyond our control

We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including internet or hosting outages, third-party platform failures (such as a job board or payment provider being down), or other events outside our control.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with our service, please contact us first at hello@roamcareers.comand we'll do our best to resolve the issue promptly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, local mandatory consumer protection laws in your country may also apply.

Entire agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about your Roam Shortlist, and replace any earlier discussions or understandings on the subject.
