Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you request a Shortlist, we collect your name, email, CV, optional LinkedIn profile, and the answers you give in our questionnaire — including details like your current country, nationality, work authorisation, and salary expectations. We collect this because it's what lets us match you to genuinely suitable remote roles; we don't collect more than that.
How we use it
Your CV and questionnaire answers are used to build your Preview and Full Shortlist reports. We use AI to read the text of your CV and extract a structured summary of your skills and experience, purely to help match you to relevant roles — this never includes the original file itself, only the extracted text. Our AI Sourcing Assistant then uses that summary alongside your questionnaire answers to help find candidate roles, which a person at Roam always reviews before anything reaches you.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of processors to run Roam: Supabase (database and file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (extracting a skills/ experience summary from your CV text, and AI-assisted job sourcing), and Vercel (hosting). We don't sell your data, and we don't share your CV file itself with anyone outside of building your Shortlist.
Your CV file
Your CV is stored privately and is never publicly accessible. We never send it as an email attachment — any link to it is a short-lived, signed link only you (or our admin team) can use.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing hello@roam.example. We'll remove your CV, questionnaire answers, and reports, except where we need to keep limited records (such as payment history) for legal or accounting reasons.
